Hey there, friends!
Last Thursday, the Zequanwood team packed up the vans and headed to a Park for our much-anticipated outdoor BBQ team-building day. And wow-what a blast it was!
The weather? Perfect. Sunny but breezy, just right for grilling. Our fearless leader, Jessica Lee, kicked things off with a quick welcome speech (and a dad joke or two-hey, we love her for it!). Then, it was time to get cooking.
We split into small teams: some handled the burgers and veggie skewers, others prepped salads and desserts, and a few brave souls managed the fire pit. There was a friendly "Best Grill Master" contest going on (spoiler: the sales team's spicy chicken wings took the crown.
Between bites, we played classic outdoor games-cornhole, frisbee, and even a spontaneous soccer match. New hires got to know the veterans, the design team finally met the logistics crew in person, and everyone shared stories beyond work projects. It's amazing what a little charcoal smoke and fresh air can do for team spirit!
As the sun started to set, we gathered around for a quick group photo (check our website or socials for the fun shots!) and a few heartfelt words about collaboration, growth, and the simple joy of sharing a meal together.
Big thanks to everyone who helped plan and pitch in-and to Jessica for making sure no one went home hungry.
