Particleboard, also known as particle board, is a man-made board. It is made by drying wood or other wood-based material chips and shavings, adding an appropriate amount of adhesive and other additives, and then forming them under high temperature and high pressure.
Particleboard is a common material in furniture manufacturing due to its low cost and excellent processing properties. Many wooden furniture pieces are made from particleboard.
