The plywood manufacturing process primarily includes the following steps:

Raw Material Preparation: Sawdust, wood fiber, or fine wood chips are crushed and screened to achieve a desired particle size.

 

Adhesive Application: The granular raw materials are mixed with the adhesive. Common adhesives include urea-formaldehyde adhesive, phenol-formaldehyde adhesive, and polyurethane adhesive.

 

Molding: The mixture is placed in a mold and pressed and heat-pressed to ensure a thorough bonding of the raw materials and adhesive.

 

Cutting and Trimming: The formed plywood is cut to the desired size and trimmed. Plywood (Particleboard) is a composite wood material made from sawdust, wood fiber, or fine wood chips bonded together with an adhesive. It is an economical, practical, and widely used building and furniture material. Plywood has many unique characteristics, which are detailed below.
